About Us |
|
If thinking about a tax office has you thinking
of stuffy offices, with stuffy professionals, and unanswered questions…or
waiting rooms packed to the gills, then you haven’t been to Add-It-Up.
Add-It-Up is not your typical tax office. We
want you to drink our coffee, especially if we are drinking it. We know
electronic filing is “the wave of the future” and it should be free. We
don’t believe your tax return should cost you an arm and leg.
When you leave our offices, you should
understand why your tax return is the way it is. No one is treated like a
number.
To us, you are a member of the family.
We take pride in those facts.
Not only do we do individual income tax
returns, we also offer bookkeeping services. This includes record keeping,
payroll, and various business taxes. Our rates are reasonable, and we do
not have a monthly minimum price requirement. |

About Vicki Overly
I have been in the tax preparation
business for 16 years, performing a wide variety of tasks involved with
that career. I began as a receptionist with a widely recognized tax
preparation firm and continued that line of work by taking the tax course,
and discovered that I really enjoyed getting to know my clients and
finding the most tax deductions I could for them. Some people call me
cheap, I prefer to just think of myself as understanding the value of a
dollar and what a little (or a lot) can mean to a family when it comes to
making ends meet. I continued my career by teaching a wide variety of tax
courses for the next nine years. I quickly learned that you absorb more
knowledge by teaching than by attending tax courses, and really enjoyed
the challenge. I became an Enrolled Agent for the Internal Revenue
Service in 2003, and also studied and passed my series 6 and 63 licenses
making steps toward learning the other side of tax preparation, Financial
Advisor. I spent eight years being a Public Relations Coordinator, which
was the most challenging and rewarding part of my career. Now as owner of
Add-It-Up I am learning, daily, a whole new set of exciting challenges,
and hope the learning continues for years to come.
On the personal side I spent eight
years coaching boys soccer for CBYSA, and five years volunteering as a
under ten league rep. I became a referee in 2002, although I have not had
much time for that since starting the company. I also volunteer as the
treasurer of the Union Pacific Employees Club and spend some time
volunteering at the Union Pacific Railroad Museum. I have been married to
a wonderful man (Dan) for 18 years and have two children (Chelsea) who
attends Thomas Jefferson High School and (Matt) who attends Wilson Junior
High School. I enjoy camping and motorcycle riding when the weather
permits, and it is not tax season.

About Sharon Snipes
I have been an income tax professional
for 37 years, having worked as an office supervisor 23 of those years. My
experience includes 10 years of teaching seminars on income tax law. I
have been an Enrolled Agent since 1986. My specialty is business and farm

I have served as a board member on the

When I’m not doing taxes, I love to

About Andrea Henson
I am currently attending Dana College.
I want to earn my Bachelor’s degree in public accounting and criminal
justice. I like to crunch numbers and I hope to catch “bad guys” in the
future. I enjoy school and am learning a lot.
This is my first year professionally
preparing taxes. I am looking forward to a rewarding tax year. I have
completed a complex tax course and am ready to help tax payers with their
tax returns. Right now I am preparing individual tax returns.
When I am not working or studying or
trying to catch up on my rest, I enjoy spending time with my friends and
family. When we get together we watch movies (my favorite are comedies),
football (go Packers and Huskers), and boating. |
